 On a whim, I decided to recheck Saphira's sex, as they were very young & she\he was very small when I originally sexed them & I knew that there was the possibility of them being too young to sex positively yet. It does appear that she is a he . Looks like I have 3.0.0

New Name time ...

Handsome! What exactly does the black on them mean? Dino does this when I take him to the vet so I figured he was stressed?

Thanks. In this case his beard is black because once he climbed the divider, he can see his brother on the other side, this is his reaction to the other male, attempting to show him who is boss.
HEAD BOBBING - is a body language that signifies Dominance. Both males and females can bob their heads. They move their head up and down in a rather quick motion - sometimes this gesture can be accompanied by a flared and/or blackened beard. This particular body language is in most cases saying “WHO's the boss!” Some Dragons actually do it to show frustration and displeasure. Moe was a major bobber in my house lol. He loves to be outside of his cage being held or in a safe area to explore... WELL when I decide to put him back in his enclosure without fail within 3 seconds he starts bobbing at me. I believe he is telling me he is annoyed that I put him back in his cage.

BEARD DISPLAY - This can be performed by both males and females. It can mean several different things. It can be done during a simple morning stretch or as a Dominant behavior. Dragons can also show off their beards if they are scared or threatened. Beneath their “beard” skin is a bone like structure they “blow out” giving the appearance of a beard. They can also blacken their beards and this colour can actually spread down into their chest area!

A name change most definitely is called for post haste...remember the story the late great Johnny Cash told in "A Boy Named Sue"...no wonder the prominent black beard...LOL:D

Perhaps..... Glaurung "The Deceiver" http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Glaurung might be a good and fitting name:)
Well, we went somewhat along those lines ;) . For the life of me, I could not remember 'Glaurung' & it did not seem to suit, he doesn't look like a 'Glaurung' to me. But again, I think we went with similar reasoning. His name is now "HOODWINK" ... :D

Thanks a bunch for the suggestion, I really liked the idea\meaning behind the name, but really don't care for the sound of it ;) .
