I was told recently I have to dust everything I give her with supplement. She was hungry this morning and I put it on the salad she dived on it, took one bite and tgen started tasting bits and throwing them out of the dish. Not having any of it. Can I just dust her live feeders as I had been doing?

I admittedly don't dust his salad every day. Seems to snub it if I do. However, I make sure every bug he consumes is dusted. I use the calcium d3 5 days a week, and the herpitvite the other two. I break it up though. Monday and Thursday he gets the herpivite.

I sprinkle the dusted crickets over their salads so their salads sorta get dusted.

I notice with Nacho that if I out worms in his salad, hell pick them out. But if I put just plain salad in his viv hell eat it late afternoon. Silly thing :)

I dust, with d-3 and vitiamins mixed tog; have always done that and only their feeders[in my case crix; and I hate hate them unless they are fresh]. My supplier got fresh ones in last night and 'Doodle-Bug ate 10-for breakfast but if your baby don't like it in salad just do crix; and worms as long as he/she gets it. -river-7

Those pieces of celery and cucumbers are too big for her to eat and swallow. Celery needs to be finely chopped and cucumbers need to be thinly sliced like paper and cut into pieces. Those vegetables look thick and she won't eat them because they're not easy to chew and swallow. Big pieces can cause impaction. No bigger than the space between their eyes.

Thanks Noella. Didn't realise celery needed to be so finely chopped. :( In fairness I think picture is a bit decieving though. It looks massive in it!

You're welcome. Yes. Leaves included. Most of what they eat needs to either be the space between their eyes, finely chopped, cut thinly, and yes, pictures are a bit deceiving.
