I think it's going to be good. I have a bigger Aerogarden and I grew salad greens last year and I was picking off it for weeks.

I wish it was a quick grow...I went to the store tonight and forgot to get mustard greens or any greens and I'm completely out for tomorrow :( Bad momma!

I really want to try this myself. I'm thinking maybe if I see it every day, I won't forget to do the stuff needed to keep it alive. I'm so scatterbrained it's pretty much out of sight out of mind for me. Keep us updated for sure!

I like this unit because it fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. The only thing I don't like is that the timer isn't automatic. The light will stay on for 16 hours and off for 8 but you have to plug it in at the time you want the lights to turn on in the morning and then it turns off an on by itself. I forgot to wake up at 6 am this morning to plug it in

LOL! I wake up at 6 on the weekdays to go to work but weekends are usually a little later unless the cat wakes me up to eat.

Well you are a better person than me. LOL. My days tend to be opposite. I usually don't go to bed until 4 or 5 am and wake at 11 or 12. The curse of working from home and me not being a morning person. Good thing there are other peeps in the house that do wake up early in the morn to wake the birdies and now to feed MooMoo.

I can barely stay awake until 10pm even on the weekends! My boyfriend has to get up during the week at 5am to go to work and he stays up sometimes until 1-2am and he wakes up chipper, I have no idea how he does it! I get up because I have to get up. I'm not a morning person at all but if I have the choice of going to work earlier and leaving work early I can suck it up! I hate coming home late and Dexter and Luci are all ready getting ready for bed, I feel like I missed the whole day with them.

When I did work outside the home I was up at 3 am to get to work by 7 with a close to two hour drive, so I could be home by 5. Man, that burnt me out quick. I think that lasted maybe 2 years, and my migraines got so out of control I couldn't go into work most days. (I'm actually allergic to the migraine meds...go figure) So I finally said, this is it, I'm working on my glass. That's what makes me happy, and my migraines have finally gone back to maybe one or two a month. The only reason I'm up already is my hubby had to go into work this morning and the phone woke me up. LOL

I already talked to hubby about getting an aero garden and he's pretty interested in it too. Got the perfect spot for it. Can't wait to see what you grow and how long it takes.

I'd get burned out quick too if I had a 2 hour commute to work. I suffer from migraines too. My doctors don't believe in giving medicine for it, they suggest I change my lifestyle and start eating better and exercising. I found an herbal remedy online that helps to keep them at bay, it has feverfew in it. Mine are more from the way I position my head. If I hold my head in a down position too long I get them. I'm careful cutting veggies for beardie salads. Sometimes even just looking down at them while they are sitting on my chest triggers it. If I made beads like you I would always have a headache! At my office we started doing Botox for jaw pain and headaches, I'm thinking about trying it.

I really do love the Aerogarden. I don't have space for an outdoor garden but I love having fresh peppers and tomatoes. I start them inside in the Aerogarden then transplant them into bigger pots and put them on my porch. I'll keep everyone updated. The small one has mustard greens and upland cress and my bigger one I am starting flowers. Edible flowers but I'll have to research to see if the beardies can eat them.

Thanks for the update I was curious . Keep us posted on how it grows.

Will do! This was actually taken yesterday, they've grown a bit more. I had some trouble where the dirt plug that the seed is in wasn't getting wet a the top but I just soaked it with some warm water and put the little grow lid back on and it sprouted the next day. My flowers have really taken off but I still haven't figured out if they are safe for beardies to eat.

1 1/2 weeks. The start sprouting anywhere from 4 to 7 days.

Ok. I couldn't see the period on my iPad and it looked like 15 weeks. Ugh. I think I might need bifocals already! Argh. I'm gonna get one after we get our tax return and see what I can grow if anything at all.

I was told I need to wear reading glasses, it's so hard to get used to them I refuse to wear them!

I had reading glasses...I can't find them though. I wonder if they make bifocal contacts? I hate wearing my coke bottle lenses. Wish I could afford lasik.
