We quickly discovered over the course of the first few days Sal has been here that he dislikes black shirts and also hats - even my light pink 'Jeep' ball cap! He head bobs and his beard get darker whenever we are wearing a black shirt or a hat 
Does anyone else's Beardie do this? In an effort not to stress him out we actually change our shirts and take off hats before we interact with him directly, since it seems like he sees it as a threat ~ he also doesn't like when I yawn if he's sitting on my chest. He puffs up and his beard gets all black... wonder if he thinks I am going to eat him? lol In any case, I've nearly perfected yawning through my nose instead, with my head turned away from him. Silly boy!
