Discoids and lobsters both legal in florida I believe, and lobsters are cheap. At least for beardies, my leos just get mealworms and baby roaches. Mr Apollo gets dubias and supers
I believe they can, just feed them appropriately sized ones. Warning though, discoids are like dubias and can't climb but lobsters can pretty much scale anything.
I don't live in Florida so I'm not in authority but --- I believe that because dubias are soft shelled and love warmth and humidity that Florida would provide the perfect environment for proliferation.
Black soldier fly larvae are better than crickets also. You can raise them pretty easily in Florida. I raise them in NC for my beardies, it's getting kinda late in the year to start a colony depending how far south you live.
