Rescued 2 adult beardies today :)

Hello!

My husband and I brought home two adult beardies today after finding them being re homed on Craigslist. We are allowing them to stay in our middle son's room but he's not even home from school yet to know , ha! He has been asking for one for a few years now and we finally agreed he was old enough to be a part of their everyday care.
We were lucky enough to find someone who was re homing with their enclosure but I do have a question...is a smaller or larger water dish better? They gave us about 4 bowls but we're not sure which one to use for water. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I'm sure we'll have more questions along the way. Thanks in advance!

A small dish will do. They really don't need one, but I just can't not offer fresh water! Just watch your humidity, don't let it get over 55% Congrats and have fun with your new guys!

What fun !! Beardies dont generally drink standing water (like in a bowl) - some do, most dont. My boy (my avatar) whom i've had for 2 years - drank from his bath water for the first time last week. I was moving the water with my hand to get my girl to move a bit (she really needed to poop!) I usually drop water onto their noses to get them to lick it off. Some beardies will bathe themselves. Unusual. There's a lot to learn - lots of great information here - take a look around. We have some awesome folks, too - if you have a question, dont hesitate to ask. What are their names? We love pictures --- !
