Rescue Bearded Dragon Hyper Alert?

I got a 5 month old bearded dragon 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I moved my bearded dragon into a bigger tank in a different part of the house. He was completely fine and seemed super comfortable yesterday, exploring his new tank. He slept good as well. But, a couple hours after I woke him up, I went to check on him and he was hyper active/hyper alert, he was moving his head quickly. So I looked it up and this is the only thing I could find on it https://beardeddragontank.com/why-is-my-bearded-dragon-shaking-its-head ... The thing is he wasn't doing either of these, and he's been getting a lot of calcium as well. Also he stopped, and especially when I picked him up. He still seems very alert but way more calm. Could this be because of my cat? I don't think so because my cat completely ignores the thing. Doesn't even look at his tank, but he could still be scared. He was fine yesterday and I even showed him the cat a couple of other times. Or could it be the window? My mom opened a window for him. Has anyone else experienced this? I just don't want the little guy to feel threatened in his new home. I also could be reading his emotions completely wrong but it just seemed a little odd to me. I definitely think its a mental issue and not a physical issue but ill provide some info about his health so no one has to worry.

Background info: Yes he has MDB but has never acted like this, he gets daily calcium intake, he gets a lot of nutrition, he poops a lot and it looks normal, he has a great uvb light and its the correct amount of inches away. Reptile carpet substrate and everything thats in his tank, including the tank has been disinfecting using f10, boiled or baked.

Small update:
I just make an observation. Since I've been treating him for MBD the past 2 weeks he's shown a lot of improvement. He's moving around more, less lazy, and overall seems more active than I've ever seen him. I bet he's probably just observing the world around him, since he's in a bigger room and bigger tank. And since he's been very chill the past 2 weeks, seeing him actually have energy frightened me, he seems fine and when I put him in his tank he went right to his basking stop. Seems there's nothing to worry about. When I took him out he didn't seem annoyed or seem like he felt scared or anything. And he seemed comfortable going back in his tank and seemed happy to be there. Sorry for the panic post, I just love the lil guy so much I was scared.

So its neither a head bob, and its not vibrating? Are u shure? Its most likely a male beardie, how long and with a kitchen scale set to grams how much does it weigh? He’s probably older tham 5months, Can u tell us what uvb he’s getting? We know u said hes got good uvb, but if it was recommended by a reptile shop , its most likely NOT good, can u post pictures? These would help alot, the window is definitely a factor, the cat is most certainly a factor, if all three walls are glass, these should be covered from the inside so he cant see his reflection (this is probably whats wrong, baby bearded dragons get frightened by their own reflections and they think another dragon is in there)

A lot of people in the forum have helped me already, I've done tons of research and asked a lot of questions to make sure I can take care of him the best I can. I have a T5HO 10.0 reptisun uvb light and a 150w basking light in a 75 gallon tank and I checked the temps with a electronic probe. The tank is super clear and I cant see any reflection. Like I said I think it could be just normal behavior, ill observe over the next couple of days just in case, I might be overreacting. Ever since I just him he would sit still in his tank and not do a thing, then a week passed and he started moving his head around and observing things, then he started walking, and then started licking things, like my hand, his props and the tank.

Sounds like he’s getting comfy to me :) they can be crazy little creatures, when i brought my girl home she was calm for about 2 months then started climbing her walls and wanted outside time , and they do have better eyesight than us, so if u can cover the 3 insides it’s worth a try.

The cat and the open window are stress factors --- birds are predators and along w/ cats --- please try and keep the cat away and the window closed so he cant hear the birds --- my dragons freak out if a bird flys outside the LR window even tho they cant hear them --- its good the cat has no interest in him --- I have 6 cats and my dragons dont flinch when they come around because the are now accustomed to them --- none of my cats bother the dragons but the birds outside not so much --- they do get stressed by them ---

The window was closed, just the blinds were open, and there's no place for birds to land there so its not that, I was just worried that maybe the looking out the window would be too much for a small dragon? I guess my cat could scare him. But like I said ill keep a close lookout to his behavior so I can determine any stress factors, if any. I really hope my cat doesn't bother him because my cat walks past that spot quite a bit. Should I introduce my dragon and my cat to each other? I don't even think my cat knows the dragon is alive.

Yes let the cat smell him so he gets used to the smell- tell the cat No -- the birds flying by will stress him even if they aren't landing- dragons have a 3rd eye on top of their heads for predators- any movement from up above can spook them-- if the blinds are closed that's good so that wouldn't stress him but if he could see that's a different story - the stress marks are probably coming from the tank change and relocation -- is he sitting on the floor or stand?

Kitty and lizard can meet each other, just make shure kitty doesn’t “love bite” him , if ur beardie kicks out his back legs and tries to look like a stick, he’s scared.
