Can 2 Reptisun 24" T5HO10.0 be used on top of screen in 75 gal tank or is that over doing it?

You want the UVB to cover at least 2/3'rds of your tank, if not the whole length. I don't know how long 75g.

48". Side by side would work fine.

My tank is the 75 gal that was actually suppost to be sold as aquarium but store was closing so they sold me the tank. Anyway there is like a lip that goes all around and down middle. The screen top that I have is split into also. This prevents me from putting a longer light across the top. That's why I needed to know if I should invest in another 24" and put is right next to the one or put it over his cool side? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If there is a divider, I would do the two 24" lights. Just place them both close to the divider so it is sorta like one big long light.
