Just got back from Reptilefest and wanted to share some bearded dragon pictures (as well as some other animals)! I'm not letting Dexter see the first picture, I don't want her to get any ideas!
There was this lady walking around with an iguana hanging on her shirt. Now I know from having Dexter hanging on me that she pulls my shirt down and digs her claws into my chest and neck and feels like she's 10 pounds when she's really just under 1 pound. So I asked the lady if he was heavy and she was like "oh no, he's only 5 pounds it's nothing!"
It was fun, I love going to it because it's not people trying to sell stuff it's just people showing you their animals. They are all really nice once you start talking to them.
Though my Repticon is more sales oriented its still fun and most the good breeders will only try to sell ya something if you tell them your looking to buy.
I like going to see all the critters they have and get to pet some of the exotic reptiles.
I'll likely go again this year and see what critters I can get for when I own a house.
I think Repticon comes here too, the NARBC also hosts one. I would love to go one time, I just have to find someone that drives since they are in the suburbs and there is no public transportation to get to them I have a nephew that is into salt water fish so I think I might talk him into going one time!
