Hi! My beardie is about 3 months old based on his size and the only reptile place near me is completely out of Dubia roaches and he refuses to eat crickets. Is there anything else I can feed him until the reptile place near me has roaches back in stock (about 4 days from now)?

You can order dubias on line they are cheaper than your pet strores
www.dubiaroaches.com
www.reptilianarts.com
www.symtonbsf.com
These two places are real good - reptilian arts has nice silk worms - they usually carry small but have been out for some time so they only come cupped now w/ food and are probably a little bigger than your 3 month old can eat -- I recommend dubiaroaches.com and get him some BSFL also known as nutri grubs phoenix worms calci worms order large --- try you pet store for those see if they have them -- they are a great staple feeder and do not dust them -- you will need to feed alot of them since they are small -- do not feed a lot at a time -- sometimes the dragon inhales them and does not chew them up and they will come out undigested so feed only a few at a time and I would feed around 50 per feeding for the only source - when you get the dubias back in the dubias will fill the appetite -- use the BSFL to put on to of the salads they make a great salad topper -- they will lure him to the bowl - you can hand feed those as well-- you can get him some small - medium super worms only use 1-3 you dont want him hooked on those so he eats nothing else you would need to order these from dubiaroaches as well they will come in a container w/ food -- he should be offered salads every morning -- http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder-- you will need a bowl so insects / worms cannot get out of something like this

I would stock up on your roaches -- get a 10 gallon aquarium get some dubia food along w/ some carrots for hydration -- do not feed your dragon carrots too to much Vit A -- they also can be fed squash and things you feed the dragon like greens - you can see if they will eat greens mine wouldnt eat them so I bought dubia food - also fruit too -- I would order like 200 at a time - figure out how many he eats per feeding and go from there -- they last a long time
