Hello, my bearded dragon is about 5 months old. She has a brown/reddish around almost her whole mouth looks chapped and maybe a little swollen. I mainly feed her crickets dusted in calcium, she has flukers buffet blend veggie variety I keep in her tank she sometimes eats that too when she's hungry and I'm not home. I just want to make sure it's nothing to worry about?

Thank you in advance!

Check inside her mouth. If there is a yellowish crust around her teeth (it looks a bit like cheese), she likely has mouth rot. Other signs of mouth rot include a swollen jaw, thicker saliva, and loss of appetite.
Obligatory questions:
-What are you using for UVB and heat?
-What are her enclosure temps?
-Does she get fresh veggies? Which kinds?
-Does it seem to hurt her when you touch it?
-Has she had any injury to her face recently?

Is there was a way to get her to open her mouth?
I have the zoomed desert UVB and heat lighting kit it has a reptisun 10.0 UVB light she's in a 29 gallon tank right now.
Her enclosure temps usually go from 84-93 during the day and drop during the evening to 68-78 the humidity during the day is usually anywhere from 25%-40% at night it goes up to about 60%. I was trying to feed her veggies and she wouldn't eat them that's why I got her the buffet blend. It doesn't hurt her when I touch it. And no injury that I've seen her head is trying to shed so she rubs it against stuff a lot. Here's a better picture of what it looks like

You need to go over your uvb and basking, no uvb coils they don’t provide adequate rays. needs to be a uvb strip. 10% uvb T8bulb inside the tank around 24inch long. 8-10 inches away from decor. Basking temps for a baby need to be 110f-41c, if you could show us your viv? someone will be able to help

Please get rid of the coil ASAP you need a 24inch uvb strip and sort the basking temps out
What would you recommend for a 40 gallon breeder? I'm picking up her a 40 gallon tank either today or tomorrow so I'll just move her into it when I get it

That’s fine to use... it’s a t5 fixture to use on top of the mesh screen, the bulb needs to be a t5 24inch 10%
Thank you so much for your help! I put an order for that. Orders from chewy usually come to my house on a day or 2

Mine is a t8 fixture and needs to be inside the viv. With your mesh top the t5 can do on top of the mesh
