Recurring parasite problem

I swear since I've gotten Natsu, got him November of 2021, ive had recurring bouts of coccidia. I'm not sure if it's coccidia this time but i definitely saw blood in his poop and it wasnt well formed. Last time i only had to do one round of the treatment and he was in the clear, but that has happened everytime ive taken him to the vet or for a fecal. This would be the third time if he does have it. I genuinely don't know what I'm doing wrong at this point, I clean his poop out immediately if he goes in his tank. I feed him a variety of greens, veggies and occasionally fruit. He gets a bath atleast 2x a week and I deep clean with F10 once a month but do daily cleaning, like cleaning out old food. His basking spot is 107°F and 77-80°F on the cool side, he's got a Arcadia UVB Dragon bulb. Like I genuinely try to keep him healthy but this has literally been happening since I first got him alittle over a year ago. For some background I did get him from Petsmart before knowing not to get animals from there. Is there anything else I can do to do more to prevent it? Or is there some other suggestion i should ask the vet?

What meds has he been on? We need Tracie the vet tech on here to help you w/ this- make sure the uvb is in the tank or unobstructed w/ a piece of decor directly under it 12-15 inches

His UVB is in the tank and is unobstructed, but he has been on Ponazuril and baytril so far

Ok distance should be 12-15 inches directly over the basking decor piece -- Tracie is going to haft to help w/ the meds do you know what dosage it was? That is normally what they prescribe for coccidia and albon -- which is really a strong med and often causes lack of appetite -- if hes got the parasites now I would clean out the tank of decor only keep what hes uses like one basking decor and use paper towels - clean w/ F10 every time he poops -- the F10 should kill the parasites in the tank - Blaze had them a while back I kept one basking decor piece that had a hide took every thing else out and at the time he was on ceramic tile - so that was easy to disinfect --

Are you feeding crickets? Brown or banded? Brown are the worst kind to feed.
My boy had the same problem until I switched to Dubia roaches... problem solved.
Plus roaches are easy to raise once you get the colony started, don't stink, live months.

I've been doing 1 or 2 super worms 3x a week per vet orders, I stopped with crickets because they die so quickly and he'd often let them get away so I wouldn't find them until I cleaned the tank. I haven't given him dubia roaches yet, I have a shop that's local that sells them so I definitely have to try that.

It's about .1 i think is what they gave him of the ponazuril, I could be wrong since I don't have the bottle and .14 of baytril.

I can't remember the exact dosage of ponazuril but I know it was .14 of the baytril. I'm definitely set up the quarantine tank tonight and get a fecal diagnostic done this week to make sure. But gut feeling tells me it is a parasite

I just looked and for sure, they're definitely cheaper. I just have no idea how many per week since he's an adult, that way I can order a good amount
He should get insects 2-3 times per week - figure 4-6 large - does he eat his salads good - he should be getting that every day

Make sure you take the fecal in NO enemas!

For sure gonna take the fecal in. He eats salads pretty well, some days he's hungrier than other but he gets them other days. But thank you so much for the advice.

Hello,

Which medication for coccidia, was he given & do you have the strength of the paste or liquid?
I would need his weight so I can double check his dose. Is he still on the medication?
Since he still has trouble, he either didn't get rid of it initially or he is somehow getting reinfected.
Are you steaming his tank, weekly? The F10 should be fine. You could take out any wooden or
porous items & replace them with cardboard for a few weeks to help cut down on bacteria.
Have you also given probiotics to help get his system back into balance too?

Tracie
