I rescued an injured beardie about a month ago. They've been set up in a 20L for quarentine and to get an idea of the extent of their injuries. Per the vet, it looks like trauma to the spine that has left their hind legs paralyzed. They do seem to be able to get around really well with their front legs and climb on the enrichment in their tank. I want to get them their new Zen habitat but am not sure if I should get the 24" high or the 16". My other special needs beardie is in the 16" but that is because he can't climb at all. If I do the 24" I'm going to do shelves and ramps for additional stability and safety. Would love to hear others opinions. Thanks in advance.

24" is recommended -- temps in the tank are harder to get w/ lower heights- -w/ the one that cant climb it is recommended to keep everything low - you can use just the floor of the tank or rolled up dish towels for climbing / propping up - please get the dragons separated if they are together - dragons do not do well in the same tank at all -- they are a dominant creature and will try to dominate space and that 20 gall is way too small for two -- the UVB should be directly over the basking area approx 12-15 inches -- this is critical - your going to need 3 tanks - they should NOT be housed together

They're not together. Andy is in the 20L because my vet wanted to make sure they could defecate without issues and to gauge their ability to move.
