Building a 4x2x2 VIV. Used melamine (probably spelled wrong) Have two rectangular side vents and 6 circular vents on the upper back. I guess I did not get enough, so I do need something to put on the inside where you attach your track for the sliding doors.. can some one tell me what are appropriate woods I could use there.

Thanks in Advance.

Hardwoods like Oak are fine... soft woods like pine should be avoided. If you can't avoid using softer woods, then at least 3-5 coats of poly urethane should seal them up so the vapors from the wood won't be an issue.

I think my plan shows about two to three inches in height to run along the front so you can raise the track. Oak will be fine to use.

Thanks for the responses.
