So I have a young bearded dragon that I got last Christmas as a baby. I'm not sure exactly how old he was when I got him because Petsmart isn't exactly the most reliable place ever. Anyways he hasn't really grown since I got him? He's in a 40 gallon tank and I feed him calcium dusted crickets daily but he has only grown a little bit. I've only owned an adult beardy before so I'm not sure how fast they're supposed to grow when they're young or if this is normal? Please advise

I checked the chart and he's definitely not as big as he should be. I would estimate he's 7-8 months old but he's only about 10 inches long. Do you think he could just be a slow grower?

What are your lights like? Do you have a basking light and a UVB? What are the temperatures? How often are you feeding him?

Any chance you could actually have a Lawson dragon? They only get to about 10-12 inches or so... I don't know all the ins and outs of the differences but I feel it could be possible.
