Okay, this is kind of a long story, so bear with me. I'll tell you everything I know.
The same breeder we got our recent dragon from (the baby) also is selling a male baby to a friend of mine. This is what the breeder told my friend today, and my friend then called me to say 'wtf'?
The breeder said that this particular beardie was sold before, and the person who bought him brought him back after two weeks because they could not take care of him. No other details were given about that situation. The breeder says that she has had him in a plastic tub with a female from the same clutch, but since his return he has acted 'restless'. She didn't elaborate on what she meant by that, but told my friend that she had put him on Albon for a week, and asked my friend if she would like to wait a week to pick him up so that she can give him another week of the Albon, or if she wanted to take him home with her and do it herself.
My questions to my friend were these: What does she mean by 'restless'? Why didn't she quarantine him after his return to her? (She claims she has 'no room' but I find it hard to believe she can't buy another $4 plastic tub) Has he had loose stools, is he refusing food, what made her think he needed the Albon, since she did not take him to a vet?
I also told my friend that I'm fairly sure Albon is hard on their little systems and shouldn't just be given on a whim. My friend then asked if I would ask all of you what you think of the whole situation.
I am tempted to advise her not to buy him after all, but I know she has her heart set on him.
