Hello! I have a bearded dragon that was rescued. Growing super fast, I want to move him to my 40 gallon tank, I have him in my 20 gallon right now with 75watt basking bulb.....Should I use a 100watt for my 40 gallon or do you thing the 75 watt is ok? Also he has been hiding for the past few days, does this indicate that he may be too hot?

You are going to have to play around with your lighting to see what you are going to need. Start with your 75 watt and if that doesn't do the trick get the 100. It all depends on the height of your tank and the hight of your basking spot. Since everyone has something different, it's hard to say what is going to work for you.

Yes. I have a female bearded dragon and I currently use a 100 watt basking bulb. I have her in the 36x18x18 exo-terra terrium. Her basking spot gets up to 98 degrees.
