Question about breeding meal worms...

So I originally started breeding the meal worms for our geckos, and my son would wait until we were totally out of meal worms to tell me, and we live an hour away from the nearest Petco or Petsmart. And for some reason they would always disappear right before payday. SMH.

So anyway. I have got an over abundance of pupa now! How in the world do I slow it down? Our geckos are not eating as much, and Moo is not big enough to eat the bigger mealies. I've been finding recently molted smaller ones for her, but not anymore! It seems that I'm loosing a lot of the pupa too. I finally have some beetles, but they don't seem to be doing anything.

I think I'm in way over my head!

This pic is just after 2 days!
