Building a 48x 20 enclosure. 30 inch tall. I have a 36 inch fixture coming. Is a 10.0 HO good or should I go Arcadia 12% or 14%?
I’ll be able to install a hanger to lower if I need to 24 or 18 inches if 30 is too high.

From what i know about lighting people prefer the arcadias, a Uromastyx or another hot deserts lizard would benefit from higer uvb output (14%) a beardy can be fine with the 10.0 or 12% bulb (I have the 10.0 HO currently and its rated for up to 36 inches) its a good bulb, make shure ur fixture has a reflector and any plastic is removed from it.

A 14% would be good for a 30 inch tall tank --- just make sure the distance is around 18" or so --- they are a good strong bulb for higher tanks -- I used a 14% for a year in my two tanks w/ an distance of 17-18" inches and that is from the basking decor piece not the floor -- I also had the UVB strapped to the ceiling / screen as well -- my tanks are 24" high
