Possible respiratory infection

I recently moved somewhere relatively humid, and the humidity in my beardie's enclosure has been consistently around 50%
Since I moved he has been breathing heavier than normal, puffing his beard a little when he inhales. He doesn't always have as much trouble breathing, mostly in the morning and evening when the humidity is highest.
I'm worried that he got a respiratory infection from the high humidity. Do you think this is the case?

Have recent is your move? Could be he just needs to acclimate to the new climate. Sounds like it only happens when the humidity is the highest. Not sure, but I'd think an infection would cause constant issues throughout the day not just at certain times. Or it could be that it's the start of an infection and is becomes worse at those times because the humidity is highest. Experts here can give you a more definitive answer, I'm sure. If it continues it wouldn't hurt to have him looked at by your vet just to be safe. Sorry I'm not more help. I'm still in the learning process myself.

I'm a little worried about possible respiratory infections, too. It's been very humid here lately and it's been a struggle to keep Dex's humidity down on certain days. I have noticed once or twice that he's sort of gulps after drinking. Not always, but once in a while. He's still eating and drinking normally and doesn't look like he's struggling for breath otherwise. I'm thinking that it's time for his first wellness check anyway so I'm going to have my vet take a closer look at this lungs, etc. while there. Take care of it now if it is the start of an infection, just in case.

Hello, I don't have the most experience with respiratory infections nor am I seeing the bearded dragon in person so I can't really say for sure. If you are concerned I would suggest taking him to the vet. Sorry I cannot be more help.
