Hi
I need some advice on what to do. I have a 4 month old bearded dragon who is on meds for parasites and is almost done with treatment. She is eating well and acting just great. Today I had her resting on me and she started to run off the couch. I grabbed her and then as I put her down realized a little of her scales are loose on her. She seems to be acting like nothing is wrong. I’m scared to pick her up since it is on her upper arm. . I can only bring her to the vet once. They need to see her after the treatment is up so I have to wait . I can’t afford two visits. I’m not sure how to administer meds since she doesn’t take them to well . Squiggles a lot so I don’t want her to hurt herself. I’m at a lost

Yes shes shedding -- please dont peel you can give her a warm soak or you can spray her w/ warm water and take a soft baby tooth brush and gently brush the moist scales --- shes probably crabby from the shedding and they do tend to go off their food --- she may not eat as much ---

Thx. I was starting to blame myself. I totally see fresh scales/ skin underneath. She seems a bit moody but I believe if something were to happen to me like that, I would be moody too
