Possible brumation issue

Hi. I have two female Rankins Dragons in a 4' viv. One of them has been brumating for a while but I think the other one is waking her up every day now either deliberately or by accident in digging in the substrate around her. The other one always wakes up first and I suspect that the other would carry on sleeping if the other one wasn't around (she also goes to sleep first in the pm) but I may be wrong and perhaps she just likes a long lie in.

Has anyone had or heard of a similar issue? Thanks in advance

You really shouldn't cohab reptiles, even if they are the same species or lizard. There are numerous reasons for this including this issue being one. Hope you figure out a solution, my best advice would to get another enclosure or build one.

In the case of Rankins Dragons, I'm not sure this is correct. They are far more sociable than Beardies and unlike them live in colonies in the wild. Apart from the above mentioned brumation issue which, if it was happening, has now resolved itself, the two Rankins get on just fine. Thanks though :)
