I noticed in my dragons cage today...a poo the size of his head! Is this healthy? Also, he hates being held or interacted with...he is about a month or two old, thanks!

I suppose it is healthy. They do poo rather big when they eat good and aren't impacted.

I was wondering about that too. Blizzard's are sometimes massive. And the smell would make your eyes water. Yeuck. :(

Steiner's poo is roughly 2/3 rds his body length or longer depending on how much he actually ate and nearly as wide as the base of his tail. Beatrix some how hides her poo (she poops while i'm at work)

lol. Allie used to poo on her hotside. Next thing I hear whenever I'm at home is a loud noise. Look up, there she is: Trying to get out and away from something that's bad and evil in her tank. I'd go up there, take her out, used to let her sit on my bed til she started to fall for an unknown reason and began to keep her in a carrier. I even let her run around my room while doing that. She hated anything stinky and disgusting in her tank. She was such a good girl.

And that's where a good amount of paper towels and vinegar and water comes in...:)

Then he starts to wonder: Why am I getting the baths and Diego doesn't? Boris is a lazy bones.

Luci is good, he still poops in the same spot under his basking log. So I put a folded paper towel right under the basking spot and catch the poop! Dexter poops in her bath and then decides she wants to drink the water, YUCK!

They're like kids! You got to grab them up before they drink that water.

I always do! When she poops I put her the farthest away from it in the tub then drain the water and I rinse the tub down and rinse her off. She prefers to play in the shower more than sitting and soaking.

lol. Allie loved taking a shower. In fact, she couldn't wait to go in when I went in. She was always trying to get into the shower with me. Even in her little container I had her in to soak while I took a shower. She'd wait for me finish bathing and then she'd pop in and start having a lot of fun. Swimming around and climbing all over my feet. :p

lol. Mine did that. I wouldn't let her have it for a while because I was soaking it with vinegar and hot water, and dish soap. Then I'd bake it. She hated that. If she poo'd on her basking hide, that would go too.

I just realized Luci does the funniest thing. His basking spot is a piece of wood and the top kinda juts up a little and is on an angle and it's flat. Well when he has to poop he goes up to the top and he pushes his belly onto the edge of the wood to help push the poop out!
