I know this will be long, but I appreciate any help so so so much

Hello there, I have a 6 year old male bearded dragon, i have had him for a little less than a year, I am his third owner (I saw his old living conditions and it broke my heart)
I have experience with beardies, but he is more anxious than any I have ever seen. He really doesn’t like being held, we worked up to it, he loves being pet, just gets super scared when picked up. He is fine to cuddle once out tho.. for a little bit.
When he first came home he glass surfed a tiny bit but grew out of it quickly. Almost 2 weeks ago I moved houses and it was a 40 minute drive, he was with me the whole time but he didn’t handle it well at all, he was okay once back in his enclosure. It’s set up the exact same and his temperatures are the same, but he isn’t adjusting well at all. He has been glass surfing everyday (I think it’s getting more aggressive and often).. he thankfully has his appetite back to normal, but the glass surfing is getting concerning.
I spent the first 4-5 days very gently, and often petting him to comfort him, but didn’t pick him up for a few days so he could get used to his new spot, and new smells and views. When I finally took him out he only wanted to be out for about a minute, and was stressed

I’m sorry that was so long, if you made it this far, is there anything I can do to comfort him? Or help him in any way, he is my whole world and I just want to help..
Is there a way to help with glass surfing? If y’all need any more info on his situation to be able to help, please reach out ❤️Thank you in advance

Welcome to the forum :) sorry your guy is anxious, can we see his current setup? What brand lighting is he getting? Temps? Distances? Im shure u have everything right , its good to rule these out at the start, where is the enclosure now? Bedroom? living room? “Reptile room”? Are there windows near by? Light and movement are huge stressors when in a new environment. If i can recommend a couple things, firstly make shure all three sides of the enclosure have backgrounds or something obstructing him from seeing his reflection (they HATE seeing their reflections) a towel over the enclosure when no one is around to watch him, a rag with your scent on it in the enclosure where he sleeps, multiple large hides. Sorry in advance if uve tried all this, some bearded dragons are just crazy, my girl will thrash and surf till someone lets her out for outside time.

Besides what Skybug asked what are you using for a UVB ? Brand and bulb? Coil or tube? I always start w/ inside the tank first to rule out temps and UVB ---- basking temps what are they are how are you taking them? NO stick ons please--- are you using any colored bulbs? If so please stop NOW-- the basking light should be a bright white bulb no off white or yellowish bulbs---- could be hormones hes going thru but we need to rule out all other things first --- what size tank another factor --
