Please help! (sucks in his stomach)

Ok, so I don't know if this is fine or good or bad or what. So the last couple of times I gave my beardie a bath, he has pooped normally and doesn't puff out his beard, but after a little bit he sucks in his stomach and I don't know why. Then when I take him out he goes back to normal. Any idea what this is?

Mine does the same thing if something startles her. She flattens like a pancake. And also does it in the tub for a bit till she gets somewhat comfortable. She’s not a fan of bathing so I assumed her flattening was because she was scared. But also doesn’t puff up or anything. If flattening is what you mean by sucking in stomach. That could be it

Yes. So you think hes just a bit scared? He doesn't always do it but he usually does it when he is first in the bath.

Maybe the water is too cold. He may be flattening to warm himself....
