To mount mine inside I used heavy duty, wide velcro strips running the length of the fixture. I set it just under where my screen sets in. Then as an added support I ran fishing line through the slats at the top of the light fixture then ran it under my screen looped it over the tank and secured the fishing line to big suction cups that I stuck to the back of my tank. To replace bulbs all I need to do is pull the velcro apart flip up the fixture and change my bulb then stick it back onto the velcro making sure my suction cups are still tight. Takes a bit to get the velcro pulled apart. Very stable. I can push down with both hands and fixture doesn't move. :)

Any Velcro you suggest in particular? I haven't tried the fishing line option yet. I bought Velcro but biggest problem I’m having is when sticking the Velcro atop of the terrarium it doesn’t stick to the screen. Thanks

Hmmmm not sure what would work for velcro if your trying to stick to the screen. I think the screened material would prevent a good stick. I stuck mine to the back of my tank just under my screen. I used 2 strips of the heavy duty velcro we got from Home Depot. It came in a roll. Then for added support I took fishing line and ran it through the vent slits at the top of my light fixture, ran it under my edge of my screen over the back side of the tank where I hooked the fishing line to suction cups.

If you're thinking about attaching your light to your screen you could try using fishing line (or other very strong string/wire) woven through the slats of the fixture and pulled up through the screen and attached to a narrow rod or board that goes the length of your tank above your screen for the support. If line won't fit through the screen you can go to any craft store and pick up very small grommets and make tiny holes to pull up through. Grommets will prevent your screen from ripping/tearing further. If I was going to attach to my screen this is probably how I'd do it. Other peeps may have other recommendations. :)
