I've given Allie some thanksgiving turkey and she does enjoy it. She loves it.

They can eat the white part of a hardboiled egg, but it's to be in moderation. I did that when I suspected Allie not getting enough protein. Allie refused the egg.

I remember before I got Dexter I was reading a book on bearded dragons and I laugh now because they said when they get older you can feed them pizza or whatever food you are eating! They said they are just like dogs and can eat our junk food in moderation. I laugh because that was one of the selling points I used to get Dexter! Of course, I know better now LOL!

Can I use Phoenix Worms instead of crickets?

Yes! Phoenix worms are actually the larvae of the black soldier fly. They can be used as a stable diet...I'm currently breeding them. They have a little bit more fat than protein (9.4 as opposed to 6.0) but their phosphorus and calcium ratio is naturally balanced, with I believe a 1.5-1.52 ratio. I prefer them more than crix.

If u only just got him he will b goin through wot i call moving sickness he may not eat much for the first couple of weeks kinda let him b hold him in take give him a nice stroke when u feed him just so he can c that ur not gunna hurt him. Also id advise u to hand hydrate him each day just by dropping water on his nose and letting him lick it off, they dnt tend to drink still water. Also wot ur temps at? size viv? A pic wud help a lot. :)
