I got some pellets for beardies and saw mainly good reviews if used as a supplement, not staple. Anyone have their own opinions? My little girl seems to have taken to them!

If she eats them I guess as a supplement it's not bad. I have read that you want to moisten them before you feed them because they plump up when wet.

Definitely want to moisten them as they will otherwise require a lot of moisture to digest and therefore can be dehydrating. Id always recommend going with fresh vegetables over pellets/dry foods but it shouldnt be a problem if fed occasionally.

Well...she picks at it, but twice in a row I woke up to find she pooped in it LOL
I guess she is not a fan after all!

Pellets are corn based, 90% of corn is gmo, gmo is poison.......dont poison your baby please. Fresh organic isn't to much to keep your baby full without hurting to much financially. I have 9 trust me it's worth it to feed them healthy good stuff

Yeah, I think she sent a message to me with her little "presents"
Thanks for the gmo info. I try to avoid anything with them, so my produce is safe.
She eats kale like a horse, but is so picky about anything other than that and the occasional grape.

Butternut squash is great because it has a sweet smell that mixed with other veggies drives my dragons wild (even the babies love my salad). Mix in some superworms or hornworms and you have one happy dragon.

Do you cook your squash or shred it raw?
