When you see them with their front legs kicked back like that it is suppose to mean they are feeling safe and totally relaxed...The way I see it is it's a good sign their keeper is doing something right
Down and out! Kind of like Allie, but here's a catch: She likes to come and cuddle til she falls asleep right on me. I don't run upstairs and put her to bed until I'm certain she's sound asleep.
Allie will extend her back legs and one front leg some times. Then if she's really comfy, she'll sprawl all out right on her pillow and under her two blankets. (Know how I know? I'm a mother hen. I check on her before I go to bed.)
Sometimes my GF will let him lay on her when it bed time and he passes out, but a few nights ago he got spooked out of no where woke up and jumped right off the bed. took us about 30 min to find him. We havn't done it since :-/
I'll put her to bed around 10 or 10:30. Sometimes, I take my Mom out to eat breakfast. (She doesn't sleep at nights. She's got insomina.) We'll go home or out to Walmart to pick up some things. We came home at 2:00 and after unloading the car, I looked up to see Allie wide awake, against the glass. I pick her up and hold her until she falls asleep again.
If I try to put her back into bed, she clings to me. Refuses to let go. So I'll stay up and wait for a little bit. Then I'll put her back to bed. I suppose they do have nightmares or they heard something that's odd and makes them react that way.
And last night, she graced me with two back legs extended out in a sexy leg pose.
