I've been wanting a bearded dragon for a long time, sooo I'm finally getting one!
I got a Zen Habitat 2x2x4 and decided to turn it up a bit.
I found backgrounds on Etsy and Ebay to be pretty pricey ($60-$80 for a 2x8). And as we all know, getting all of the necessary supplies from having nothing adds up!
So, I found great photos on Shutterstock (you can get 10 free picture uploads with a trial membership). I decided on one and used Walgreens to create a 2x8 Banner (they have coupon codes for photo prints all of the time). $15 for the banner.
After cutting the banner to size, I used Mod Podge to affix it to the sides of the terrarium. Learned some tips and tricks, if anyone is interested.
I got some tile and grout at Home Depot, $8. I placed some cardboard underneath the tile since there would've some dead space between the tile and bottom of the enclosure. Grouted the spaces inbetween the tile. Used DAP Silicone to seal any spaces around the perimeter of the tile.
Voila!

Love it. Did you just use the cardboard from the tank packaging to fill the air-gap beneath the tiles?
