keep him on a harness at all times and make sure you have already fed him food so he wont try to eat as many outside bugs. and if you do walk him make sure to stay within like 2 or 3 feet of him as he is small enough to be food for a bird. other than that you should be fine for 10 min at a time at his age.
Natural unfiltered sun is very good for them, providing that it has a cooler place to retreat to, should it feel the need. But that being said, as thorn has said, extreme caution is required to keep them safe from predators, wild food & fauna.
