Going out of town for about 4 days. Kinda wondering what to do with my sons bd. Live in bfe, so no pet stores or lizard friendly neighbors. Can't take him camping with us. Any ideas?

Do you live in Wisconsin? LOL! My parents live in a town in WI that actually had t-shirts printed saying they are in the middle of nowhere!!!! But they have an A&W Root Beer restaurant so it makes it somewhat bearable!

Are you leaving for 4 full days and do you have your lights on a timer? We are in a similar situation. We are going away for about 3 days in July and we don't have anyone to care for the critters. All my tanks are on a timer so I don't have to worry about that. We are leaving on a Wed night and coming home Sat. My plan is to give nice long soaks and feed them real good on Wed and then Sat when we get back.

Tank is on a timer. Was thinking that since roaches tend to hide under his carpet, that I would dump several in there so he could munch for a couple days. Roaches don't jump or climb, so they would not be bugging him when he is up on his ledges.

Nearest pet store is Earl May in Columbus, Ne. I don't think I even wanna bother with them. I have a buddy that lives in the next town that has a snake. He might be willing to watch the bd if I take everything over to his house. Might be too big of a pain in the a$$ for a 4 day trip. There has to be a simpler solution. Family coming over to feed him is not an option since they are all going camping with us. We will be one of those dreaded motorhome convoys going down the highway at 55 mph that you can't pass. 3 motorhomes pulling flatbed trailers of ATVs.

Dog is coming with us, cats are staying home, how big of a deal is it to leave him home alone? No room for his viv in camper. Camper will get pretty cool at night, so won't be able to keep the temp up.
