I hate to keep asking off topic questions, but the tegu forum people are harsh, and don't reply....the new tegu I rescued has a faint sneeze. Her temps and such were all out of whack. No discharge or anything. Thinking maybe give her a few days to see what happens with proper husbandry???

Sounds like a URI. Are the temps still out of whack? I don't know a lot about Tegus, but I have a feeling that you'll need to up her temps, lowering the humidity, and taking her to vet if possible. If not, try Reptaid and see if that'll help you. You'll need the Reptaid XL, if she's fully grown. I'm using it now on Allie for Yellow Fungus and to boost her immune system. Allie's had nothing but issues since her surgery and had a severe RI that was so bad that I had to give her prescription Baytril and within about 15-20 days, it was gone. Keep her warm at night, too.

That really stinks that other forums aren't as nice as this one. I don't know anything about tegus but I would imagine you could follow the same principle guidelines that you would for other lizards. If you could get some hold of Reptaid, that would be a good thing to give. You see how well Allie has been doing on it. When I first got Luci he had a lot of mucus in his mouth and I thought it could be a URI. I gave him the reptaid and upped the heat in his cool side and kept it high day and night. Within a week he was perfectly fine.
