I’m switching my five year old from a 40 gallon fish aquarium to a 120 gallon Zen! I’m so pumped for him. He totally deserves it after what he’s been through in his life (his previous owners neglected him). Can’t wait to see him in his new big cage I bet he will be so happy. I’ve poured my heat and soul into giving him the best life possible and he’s really grown on me. I never thought a lizard could become my whole world. This little guy truly is my best friend :)

Mine is also coming in March i'm so stoked.

@Sadie @Maddie_Flick @Skybug know of any good logs i could get that are a good size and that he would love to climb on? I'm trying to give him lots of climbing opportunities so he can just be more active I feel like he'd really take advantage of it. He loves being out and running around like a mad man lol.

You can look for some outside but you would need to bake them first to kill whatever is living in it--- not sure exactly what you want- something easy to clean ? That would not be something from outside- PetSmart has nice decor for dragons---

Id do what sadie said if u can ,bake any outside wood in ur oven on 200 for 10 minuets, the amount of logs and things ull need you’ll probably end up spending 60-80$ just on wood, but if ur okay with that, get cork bark (its a couple dollers more but its lightweight cant mold and u can get huge pieces of it) id start there , im lucky enough to live next to a forest , so ill be in there come march lol

I only need to bake the wood? I don't need to clean it with dawn soap or anything? That is what I did for my chameleon.

My question is, does baking it kill all of the bacteria and things or do I need to clean it too?

I hosed off the wood and used a metal toothbrush to get any nasty bits off, u can also use a grinder wheel to get a “fresh edge” on the wood, no it doesn’t kill 100% of everything, but as long as you have wood thats hard , doesnt have dry rot or white mold you’ll be fine, dry rot wood is really all ur looking out for, bake anything (except rocks!!!! Dont bake rocks!) they’ll explode in ur oven

Now I want to bake rocks!
I can't believe they explode. Wonder if utube has videos of people baking rocks?
