Oranges?

I know bearded dragons shouldn't really eat fruits that are high in acids such as oranges but what about indirect oranges? I've been giving my dubia roach colony oranges because they help them thrive and reproduce because they go crazy for them and go through them fast. Fortunately at this point I don't like to dig into the roach colony too often because I'm hoping they'll breed one of these days since I have some large adults in there too. I do however like to give oranges to the crickets which all my terrarium animals eat with regularity. I like to give them to the crickets because not only are they full of water but are high in calcium which is a real benefit to whatever I feed them to. Do you think my dragon would be okay if his food has been eating oranges?

yes - oranges are ok to feed dubias and crickets and etc. just not directly to your beardie baby

I agree with all of the above.. If your feeding all your feeders oranges then you should account for the additional calcium that they will be bringing to your beardie.. As well as any greens and other veggies/fruits.

Thanks Everybody! I was only able to respond now but I'm relieved it's safe to continue with my system because I think it's a really good one! :)
