So I left this.morning to take my son to school, and did some errands. Was maybe gone 2 hrs...I forgot to shut.off the CHE when I turned his lights on....I've never done this! When I got home, his temps were almost 140! He seems ok, and I gave him a soak and he ate his roaches....should he be ok, or did I hurt my little guy??? :'(

Those temps are quite hot. Make sure to keep the temp cooler for about a week (just in case he has any burns). Idk how close the lamp is too thhe enclosure.

Only if they're dehydrated and sick can they drink Pedialyte. I gave Allie some when she was on Baytril.

My vet recommended pedialyte lightly diluted through a syringe, back when Nacho first came home and was very sick...not impressed with this vet however. Unfortunately the only one local to me...he felt so dry and looked wrinkly to me. His light sits in top of the mesh top, with a basking log bringing him about 10 in from it. I've dropped the log down so he can't get close. He started shedding, and is eating and behaving fine thank God. I feel so terrible. I can't even imagine if I didn't come home when I did. I could not handle it if he got hurt, or worse because of my error. :(...I just love him so much....thank you for your responses.
