I have a female bearded dragon whom has an extremely bloated stomach. However, she is always hungry. Her feces are normal, her diet and temps are almost perfect, and her enclosure is regularly cleaned. Last time she had this "issue", she was gravid, and layed around thirty eggs (I believe thirty-one). I want to know if I should feed her as much as she wants or put her on a diet. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you,
Forrest

What is her diet? How much does she weigh? You can weigh her on a kitchen food scale in grams - you can get one from Walmart if you dont have one-- please post a pic of her -- getting her out of her tank for 2 hrs per day to give her exercise will help w/ the weight - let her run your LR floor but make sure there are things she cant get under that you cant get her out of --

Her diet consists of greens (collard, mustard, turnip, and occasionally dandelion greens), squash, peas or carrots once a week, crickets, and superworms (as a treat). I do not have a kitchen food scale unfortunately. I believe she is pregnant--she eats a lot, and her feces has a pinkish tint.

It's late where I live, so I will send a picture tomorrow. She has layed infertile eggs before, and has mated (without my knowing). Thank you for your time.

Still waiting on response
I did respond. She has mated, which is why I'm wondering if I should give her as much food (she's always hungry) as she wants or put her on a diet, as her stomach is quite bloated.

Well, she bred without my knowledge. I have five bearded dragons, and I live in a large household. Thank you for the reply
