Hey guys, granted I've only had Phoenix for about a month but it seems as if he rarely wants to be held or out. The past few days if
I pull him out and sit on the couch he will run back to his cage.

Anyone have advice on that? He eats and poops regularly. Never puffed at me but just doesn't seem as social haha

Patience is everything. Just keep trying. I had the same problem with Luci. Once I got him to stop trying to bite me and hiss at me we had to work on the holding part. Whenever I would take him out he would run away from me. So what I did was I would take him out of his tank an hour before lights out when he was real good and tired. I would then put him under my sweater and cover his head which would then make him crawl up on my shoulder, almost in my sleeve and go to sleep.
