Not sure if I should be worried yet or not.

Im not sure If Im just getting the new owner paranoia or If its something of concern. I have noticed in Sodas Tank, there isn't really any real poop. I have seen some white spots in the areas he hangs out most, but have only seen one "real" poop since Soda Came home. I have been putting a variety of things in there veggie and fruit wise, like Cantalope, Squash, Berries, greens, and every day Soda will eat about 3-4 3week crickets.

Also seems to sleep a lot or likes to sit with his/her eyes closed.

Should I be worried? Especially about the poop?

COuld it just be stress maybe?

3-4 crickets a day is a TINY amount of food to eat. With so little food going in there will not be much coming out. The white is urate, its it a lot? dry and chalky looking? Is Soda only eating this many crickets or is that all that is offered? Remind me again how long you have had him/her. temps and how they are taken? UV brand and distance from Soda? Does he/she eat the veggies? and how old? I know you have already given this info but it will help to have it all right here.

Your viv setup is very important for the digestion of foods. If you could answer Sandra's questions, it would help determine if something is amiss.

Yeah, Soda Doesnt seem to want anymore than that. I remember reading on a care sheet to feed them as many Crickets as they will eat in 10 min.-2-3 times a day. he only seems to really like to eat at one feeding and only 3-4 crickets in general. Sometimes more, but not usually. Im not sure what would be considered a lot of urate, and it is chalky and white looking.
I have had Soda for 1 week as of yesterday.
I thought I had a Reptisun on the tank, but when I looked again, I realized it said Reptiglo. I Have already ordered the Reptisun 10.0 and will replace his light as soon as I receive it. I also had a question about that.. I have heard they can do damage to the beardies Eyes. Would it be better to put a Different UVB in there until I get the other in the mail? I have a couple Exo-Terra "sunglo" daylight bulbs. Just wondering which would be better in the meantime, or if it should be ok..

The UVB light is full lenght of the tank and soda has 2 places that he/she likes to be, one is about 6 inches from the light and the lower area is about 12"

Soda is about 9-11 Weeks old, and So far I have not seen him/her eat any of the veggies offered.

And for Heat I have a digital probe thermomiter. The basking area is 108.4 in the hottest area and about 95 at the step down.

The cooler area is about 80 on average depending on our house temp.

Other info that might be helpful is So far I have bathed him/her once and she Drank some water and didnt seem to mind.

I thnk thats Everything. Im worried and hope I havent made too many Newbie errors. Haha.

Renee can you answer about leaving the UV light for now, I don't know anything about them other then what to get and how often to change.

The viv set up is good. With only having him a week I would not worry yet. My little girl ate like that the first week. She did not get her full appetite for a month. About the second week she started eating about 10/day and slowly started eating more until she was eating about 120 crickets per day. These little things can make you worry. I think he is just taking a little longer to settle in.

I would take out the reptiglo. You are better off without uvb for a few days than bad uvb.
How big are the crix...they should be no bigger than the space between his eyes.
Have you soaked your guy yet. They can dehydrate if you don't soak them a couple times a week. Especially if he isn't eating. No eating and no hydration=no poop

Taking the ReptiGlo out would be a cautious move and I tend to stay on the side of caution. I believe it is long term effects when used. Beardies can go a couple of days without it, but one so young really needs their UV light. If it is above 85F, I would get him outsdie for an hour or so a day while you are waiting for your ReptiSun 10.0. Make sure he is protected from outside bugs and predators.

ya i had the same problem with mine and it was just relocation stress, now hes a beast, they say u cant over feed a young beardie, but i think i did lol, hes belly would still be hanging 7 hours later when he was supposed to be fed less, so i gave him a few less for a few feedings. and i got my youngster to eat his greens by hand feeding him some before i gave him crickets, helped now he eats it on his own.
