Hello everyone. I thought I would post a few observations about my new Breardie Moe . He ( yet to be confirmed)is about 2 and a half months old now and always sleeps at the top of the tank, ,clinging to the fake rock wall in a vertical position.. He likes the driftwood that leads up near the top tank. He has never slept on the floor of the tank even though is is lined with these nice soft place mats I picked up .. I think at some point he will become too large and heavy to sleep on the wall like that . Time will tell I guess.. Im curious if this is fairly normal ..

I wanted to pass along thanks of a tip on lining the side glass with paper. Moe has be distracted by looking at his reflection. I could tell it was tripping him out a little ha ha. Now with the new wall paper / paper bags ,he does not try to claw at the glass and get through it . Moe likes Crickets and does pretty darn good with his salad also . Some new favorites are Cucumber, pear, apple mixed in with his greens.. I have not seen his black beard yet so far and he is fine with me petting and holding him and came along way with that .. He sure did poop on my hand yesterday . I guess it was bad timing on my part. :) I think he is gained a lot of trust with Me.. .

Sounds like he's being a normal dragon! My babies always slept at the highest point of their tank. They still like sleeping in their hammocks more than on the floor.

My gal has always slept on her floor as a baby and still to this day she sleeps under her hides on the floor, she will nap in her hammock under her basking lamp.
