Not eating or being active

I have had my beardie for about 6 months now. He was about 2 months when I got him and he has been doing great until the last week or two. He has stopped eating almost entirely and hasn't shed in weeks. He had been in almost a constant shed of one part or another since I got him. He won't use his hide at all, never has. Could this be brumation? I thought they were generally older before they did that. He sits under his little piece of drift wood that is under his heat lamp all day. He is pooping every other day or so and I give him a bath 2 times a week but the last one he was agitated and puffed up during bath time so I cut it short. He has never been much for his veggies but he will eat kale, dark leafy lettuce and other greens but he won't eat more than one or two of his meal worms and repti worms.

generally it is better for them to be a bit older before going into brumation - they are more developed and have hopefully accumulated some fat stores. which does not mean that he is not brumating - entirely possible. actually - this is kind of what it sounds like. my 4 year old male mostly sleeps for 2 or 3 days, then he is up and eating and running around for a few days, then back down for a few days. He hasnt eaten anything since last saturday (roaches) and hasnt been active at all. this morning he got up, was pacing back and forth in his cage, i was so excited to see him i took him out to spend some time with him before i left for work - he pooped (on my bedspread thank you very much) and ate some arugula. of course, i dont know what he does when im not home, but sometimes he will be in the same place he was when i left in the morning. My girl - conserves energy whenever and however possible. all year.
