Hi I have had Mrs. Celia a little over a month now. This was her poop today. Im not entirely sure if it's normal or not. (First dragon) any information would be appreciated. Also her poop smells bad. I know all poop does just not sure if it should stink up the living room after she poops.

Let me clear up some basic information I know will be asked. Basking temp around 102-104. And we are using the reptizoo T5 HO uvb in the tank.

Ok its hard to tell it looks like its scattered all over --- if its smelling really bad granted poop does smell but when there are no parasites it has smell but not that bad if its smelling horrible I would get a fecal from her /him take it in to the vet for testing -- the Reptizoo is not a very good bulb I would switch it out for a Arcadia 12% 24 watt bulb for a 24" fixture or a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 - distance and placement for the bulb is crucial for the tank - determined by the screen --- the temps are being taken by a digital probe thermometer? Stick ons are inaccurate

Yes I am using a digital probe. I put the reptizoo in the tank, because I have read the same thing about it not being the greatest. (Should have done more research before purchasing) I don't have uvb meter, so I'm going off other reading from people on YouTube. Probably not the safest.. I figured it's better then the coil uvb that came with my kit.

The UVB bulb will make a difference in her health scales and behavior--- the fixture is fine just change the bulb out -- distance should be 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor piece - what are you feeding for staple insect ? How old is the dragon?

Well I'm not entirely sure of her age. She was purchased from petco and I wasn't told. I'm assuming somewhere around 6 months. Thats just a guess. She eats dubia roaches. Here a picture of here and her basking set up. Please be gentle we are new . Also I have read the sand isn't a good substrate. We are currently deciding on what we are going to switch to.

Ok your screen is a wide hole type get her basking decor directly under the uvb 8-10 inches- sand is terrible for babies- some textured NON adhesive shelf liner cut to the size of the tank easy to clean w/ 50/50 vinegar and water - also her basking temps will change to 95-100 at around 6 months - I would suggest getting her uvb bulb changed out as soon as you can and they do expire at 10-11 months
