*Dragon is under the care of a vet but vet seems a bit stumped, as well.

My bearded dragon 21 months old, named Kevin, has not ate on his own since February. I have been gavage feeding him a special diet bought at vet office since the end of May. I still try to entice him with vegetables, dubia roaches and super worms, but he is 100% not interested. He refuses everything, no licks or attempts. He appears very healthy and active. Even when he had lost a decent amount of weight prior to the gavage feeding (he still looked and acted healthy). He did test positive for pin worms and we treated, but the vet said he usually doesn't even treat for those since they are so common but figured we would see if that is what has made Kevin loose his appetite. Anyone has experience with a dragon that just one day refused to eat ever again?

Dragons will go off their food that is common but not usually for that long and parasites will cause them to loose their appetite if the count is too high --- and after treating for the pinworms he still has not started eating again? Ok so the next thing they will not eat if the surface basking temps and UVB are incorrect- so lets go over the lighting in your tank --- what brand and bulb are you using for a UVB please NO coils - that is a given to appetite not being there ---they cannot absorb / synthesize their calcium and MBD will start to develop--- next the basking bulb your using is a solid clear bright white bulb? Please no colored no off white no yellowish or no day time bulbs - those will cause eye issues -- you want a digital probe thermometer to get surface basking temps stick ons are not accurate and give only ambient temps
Hiccup went off his food for about 2 months I am guessing --- I took him to the vet as well -- we ran all kinds of blood work on him X rays spent about $500 on him to find out there was nothing wrong w/ him --- during that time I was force feeding him critical care -- he had not lost any weight by the way so we were all stumped -- no parasites -- so finally one day I just said no more force feeding --- about a day or so later he started eating again -- it was just him ---- all my temps and UVB were good --- that is what thru me off -- and he wasnt losing weight either --
