Hey guys, our home gets very chilly at night (around 60 degrees) and so our vet recommended buying a ceramic heater for the night-time so one side of the tank will be warm.

Does anyone have one of these and have a good idea for wattage? There's 60-150 watts and I'm wondering which bulb will make the tank about 70-75 degrees.

Any advice?

You could probably get by with a 60 watt CHE if your tank isn't really high. You don't need it to get real hot because they need the temp drop at night to regulate their body. 65-70 degrees is fine. You could get a higher wattage CHE and try a dimmer switch to adjust it to the temp you want.

I have 100 watt in mine and it seems to keep things warm enough. We have a 40 gal and the temp usually gets to around 70-75. Our beardie seems to like it and he curls up to sleep.
