Newspaper as substrate

Hey guys,
currently I've been using newspaper for substrate in Beemos viv, cause it's easy to clean and does the job.
Only this morning I brought her out for some cuddles, and noticed some pink on her legs/belly. I touched it and it just came off, so I was wondering does anyone have any issues with their beardie getting little bits of newsprint on them? Also, can this harm dragons?

hi there. I use repticarpet cuz newspaper ink bleeds sooooo readily! But - newspaper is super easy to clean. it wouldn't surprise me if others noticed that their beardies are "inked" also

Yea it will come off onto your beardie, I like ceramic tile way better and it's super easy to clean.

I used newspaper before for my boy and it stained his feet pretty bad and it took up to a year of sheds for them to come back to a normal color. I now use non adhesive shelf liner for him.
