Hi, I got my first beardie a couple of weeks ago he's called Spud and I have to say he's lush but when I went to check on him today I noticed that his nose has gone a pale grayish colour
Welcome, Sarah - a pale gray nose is not cause for immediate concern. lots of questions - here goes : how old is he? what kind of lighting and heat do you have? what's he eating? what's your substrate? can you post a photo of the "nose" ?
We are not sure how old he is as the shop we got him from never told us but I'd say less than a year as he's just abit longer than my hand. We are using a 50 watt basking light and a 10.0 uvb light he eats mainly crickets and locusts with the occasional meli worm (not sure if that's spelt right) I will try and get a pick of it when I go to feed him in a min
Update it looks like he is shedding the grey on his nose is gone but he has bits of skin flaking off of his head but I have noticed that his poop this morning looks a lot wetter than normal is this normal when shedding??
