After quite a bit of reading I'm feeling confident to bring my new beardies home this week!

I'm getting a Translucent and a High Yellow hatchling. I've set up a smaller enclosure until they've grown. Disregard the burlap hammock as I've been informed that their claws may snag and to use a fabric that will prevent that.

My day temps are cool end 80 and hot end 100. I'm using a PowerSun heat bulb which provides heat and full spectrum UVB/UVA.

Ive discovered the food list here in the forum. This forum is very helpful. Looking forward to learning more.

I already own a pastave ball python named Hugs, a Brazilian Redfoot named Potato and a Columbian Redfoot named Bubbles.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and I'm glad to hear you've been reading up.. Are you housing them separately?? Even young babies can turn on eachother just beware.. cute setup are the cactus real or fake? careful of thorns on those delicate bellies.

I have two separate enclosures ready if I observe any aggression. The cactus plants are real, yes. You know I had thought about that as a concern but after pushing on the little spikes, they really appear to be pliable.

Thank you for the warm welcome. :)

These are my Redfoots.... And their indoor enclosure. They also have a huge outdoor enclosure with a garden full of non toxic plants. :)

I like tortoises as well. My mom has four box turtles that she's had for years in her yard all year round. Even had some babies but they were small enough to get through the fencing. They will follow you in the yard looking for handouts like worms which they love.

They're home! Gave them some time to settle in. After a while offered crickets and greens and puréed carrots. They hunted, explored and napped. One even soaked in the shallow water dish! I'm simply smitten over them!

Going to get some tiny roaches this week and some adults to colonize. :)
