Ok so recently when I've gone to feed my beardie, he has become very picky. As a baby he was never picky but did have his dislikes. He's now 3 years old and only eats certain fruits and veggies but will take any worm or cricket offered. It seems like he only wants to eat bugs (store bought, in case of confusion) if I give him a salad he'll usually leave it there but he loves strawberries and raspberries which I feed him everyone in a great while. Help would be greatly appreciated,'I've head him since a very young age and we've been through thick and thin, I just want to give him a happy life.

Welcome to the forum.. Sounds like your doing good with him being 3.. This is a situation that can be pretty frustrating..Some dragons will happily eat their greens and bugs and then there some that if having a choice will go bugs first... You're going to have to find what % works best for your fella...Some tough love will have to happen. As long as he's a good weight and in good health I would give salads 1st and until he eats some no bugs..being that he's 3 he can go every 3-4 days between bug feedings a week. They are pretty smart and they won't starve themselves so he will eat it just when :) it's not going to be easy to stick with the greens but when he eats some then he can have some.. Just make sure that he's not loosing weight and he still gets some protein...
Hope that helps

And in your feeder bins you can feed them the greens so if your fella just won't eat them and there are some that just refuse to you feed the greens/veggies to the bugs and the dragon eats the bugs (especially if dubia's) they hold the nutrients longer time...

I have an almost 4 year old (yikes, that sounds weird) that is picky about her salads. If she eats them she's not doing it so I can see. I've tried everything she's just really stubborn.
