That is the complete truth !! Our new baby (whom isn't named yet) we actually rescued her. A friend of ours, and when I says 'ours' I mean husband, son and I lol) a family friends niece got a baby from petsmart, petco or some national pet store chain and baby was very unhealthy, lethargic, timid, and thin and she was scared to take care.of her bc she didn't know if she was capable of devoting the time or money to nurse her to the baby she's capable of being so that's the sweet story of how we rescued this adorable and now healthy as a horse leather back baby !!

You are right about picking one. And ya know, it's so heart breaking what some of these poor babies must suffer thru at the hands of a perfectly capable human. I wish I had the funds and space to have a sanctuary for any and all neglected creatures that everyone else has given up on and the ones who don't have any1 to begin with, but this is me dreaming in a perfect world unfortunately
