Hi there, I keep tortoises but will be adopting a beardie this weekend so I thought I'd start an account so I could lurk, learn, and maybe share once I have my new girl.

Thanks for the welcome!
I met with her previous owner today to pick her up. She is such a pretty girl!
I have her in a temporary enclosure while I decide if I'm going to put her in a 4'x4' or and 8'x4' enclosure. She's currently in a 40g reptile tank. She's been well taken care of and handled often so she is incredible gentile and docile. We absolutely love her!

She's really amazing addition. I was feeding her this morning and she is so gentle when taking food.
The paper has turned out to be great for inside her temp enclosure as well as outside. I plan to tile her bigger enclosure.

She was in a trio and was dominating the other two so her keeper asked me if I'd take her.l to eliminate potential problems.

Congrats she is a beautiful girl, is she a retired breeder? I also love the look of the paper so simple and creative.

Actually she is just 1 yr and 4 months old so she's not been bred. And thank you, she's an amazing little beauty.

Wow what an honor of them to ask you and for her to be soo young too.. Awesome that you took her in I guess that was a no brainer it would have been for me too lol

Just an observation. She looks like she is a hypo trans. Black eyes mean that she's a translucent, her skin on her belly may seem kinda see through (not sure if that is the case with an adult) and hypo means lacking in black pigment in their skin so instead of her dark patches being black they are more of a blue/grey/purple color and all her nails are clear.

She's just beautiful. So much expression in her face

May I ask what breeder the original owner got her from? I would like to get one more dragon in the near future and love her color pattern.
